Currently posted as Project Engineer in Estimation and Design Department at Ercon. My job at Ercon deals with estimating and designing certain aspects of Switch Gears and its components. My duties include:
Estimation of materials that go into making Switch Gear panels.
Designing control for Switch Gear panels.
Figuring out the sizes and capacities of bus bars and cables for efficient distribution of current around the panel.
Working with DOL, Star-Delta, and Soft Starters.
Designing control circuits for these starters.
Complete understanding of MCBs, MCCBs, ACBs, VCBs, MMS, and VFDs.
Figuring out appropriate breakers for Switch Gear panels based on rated capacities and customer demands.
Working with Contactors, SPDs, and Relays.
2D design of Switch Gear panels on AutoCAD.
Design of 3 phase and 1 phase wiring.
Hands-on experience of power and control wiring.
Provided my services as an electrical engineer on various freelance projects. Some of the projects included:
1. Power System Operation and Control on MATLAB.
2. Under and overvoltage protection of a Power System on MATLAB.
3. Development of a complete solar power system for a small house on MATLAB.
4. Circuit development on Proteus.
5. Document formatting on MS Word and MS Excel.

Preventive maintenance refers to regular, routine maintenance to help keep equipment up and running, preventing any unplanned downtime and expensive costs from unanticipated equipment failure.
