Supervise the implementation of Child Protection activities in the project districts while ensuring coordination with the key stakeholders.
Ensure that all interventions are in-line with the strategy, and CP Minimum Standards.
Supervise and provide technical support to CFS Facilitators by visiting Child Friendly Spaces and CP Case Workers during field visits.
Guide CFS facilitators in working with children to develop new, creative activities as appropriate.
Apply and adhere to guiding principles of working with survivors and children at risk, including respect, dignity, security, and confidentiality at all times.
Responsible of making ‘Best Interest Principle’ the center of all interventions.
Ensure mapping of service providers including government departments and civil society organizations to support CPO in establishing district-based Referral Mechanism.
Using a client centered approach, work together with survivors or children at risk to establish action plans based on the needs identified and ensure adequate safety plans exist for the clients.
Ensure proper use of referral pathways in the field and assist the children and their families to access legal, educational, health, vocational and other services.
Regularly liaise with the CPO for support and case conferencing together with the Child Protection Coordinator.
Document cases according to IRC standards and maintain all records in a secure and confidential way.
Promote awareness among the communities around key child protection issues their monitoring and referral/case management processes.
Liaise with other service providers to strengthen referral mechanism and always ensure safe and smooth referrals.
Participate in the meetings to share regular updates e.g. number of cases and major categories.
Liaise with the other team members to highlight any key information necessary to ensure services remain relevant to the children.
Identify gaps in services or risks shared by the survivor or children at risk and report these to the Child Protection Coordinator.
Participate in trainings and capacity building events organized by IRC or as per the nominations to participate in other events.
Develop and submit progress reports as required by the line manager.
Contribute to research, learning and evidence-based programming through data collection.
Ensures that safeguarding standards are understood and met and ensures a safe and child-friendly atmosphere in the Child Friendly Space.
Strengthen community-based child protection mechanism in coordination with community-based protection colleagues and organizations.

The District Coordinator will build, maintain and strengthen strong coordination mechanisms within the intervention district with multiple key stakeholders, including regional and headquarter teams, health departments at district and provincial level, UN agencies, other NGOs/INGOs for improved project performance.
Participate in important government planning meetings to further the mandate of the organization
To improve health and nutrition status of children and mothers by rapidly expanding and enhancing coverage of intervention in the district, both through facility and community action plan.
Maintain constant effective communication with key policy makers at province and district levels for timely sharing of project related information highlighting gaps and challenges.
Advocate with the relevant provincial authorities to create an enabling environment for scaling up the intervention to other districts in the province.
Ensure regular liaison with the Project Coordinator, National Coordinator and National Program Officer to ensure the AMMI work (around maternal, child and adolescent girls) is coordinated and in line with the objectives of the project.
Ensure strategic planning under the guidance of Project Coordinator MMS Pakistan for timely implementation of the Annual Work plan activities, including M&E activities, meetings including reviews, visits to project area and facilities.
Retrieve a monthly plan from all field staff/implementing partners engaged in the implementation of the project at the district level.
Compile & submit the district plan of training activities for different cadres after receiving of the same from government/ partners/IPs to your Provincial Coordinator.
Organize and facilitate district training plans and sessions for healthcare providers working in public sector in close coordination and collaboration with district authorities and in a timely manner.
Ensure timely implementation of all training initiatives at the district level.
Ensure that the technical teams in the field undertake regular on-job capacity building of relevant government functionaries through review meetings and frequent field visits.
Ensure timely delivery of supplies to the district, tehsil and health facilities in coordination with your supervisor and the Country Office team.
Ensure that the district maintain logistics and un-interrupted distribution of the commodities; ensuring to highlight any issues that may impede regular distribution of commodities at the district level.
Monitor the commodities supplies transfer, storage and distribution at district level.
