I am a development professional having over 10 years of experience in Project Management, Designing and Implementing Monitoring, Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) system. As a professional, I have worked with more than six national and international organizations in foreign funded projects across Pakistan.
Recently, I served Human Dynamics (HD) as a district Monitoring Reporting Specialist in one of its projects with a name Community Driven Local Development (CDLD) in KPK. This project was Co-Funded by European Union (EU) and the Government of Khyber Pukhtoon Khwa which ended on 31st June, 2020. The project is being implemented in 13 districts in KP with the primary objective to involve local communities in the process of development.
Before joining CDLD, I was a Consultant / Third Party Monitor for UK-DFID Funded projects Multi-Year Humanitarian Program (MYHP) implemented by the Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) and ACTED Pakistan in district Chitral KPK, Pakistan. As a Consultant/Third Party Monitor, my responsibility was designing of research tools and instruments at activity, output, outcome and impact level. Moreover, my job was to collect (both quantitative qualitative), analyze data and share the final reports with senior management.
In addition to this, I also served GFA Entec AG as a Project Coordinator in one of its projects namely Micro Hydro Resource Services Centre (MRSC) which was jointly supported by Repic and Wisions. MRSC aims to improve the reliability and sustainability of power production from Mini/Micro Hydro Power Projects in Northern Pakistan through the introduction of locally available training and OM services. GFA Entec AG is a Swiss consulting and engineering company based in St. Gallen with more than two decades of experience in the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency (RE EE) and increasing access to modern energy for rural communities in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe.
TECHNICAL SKILLS

Monitoring & Reporting Specialist
1. Serve as CDLD M&E focal point and liaise with counterparts at the district level on M&E; 2. Support a system to keep track of data collection and analysis obligations of various counterparts and to send early signals for compliance; 3. Build capacity of the district government staff on various M&E tools and techniques customized for Programme monitoring; 4. Liaise regularly with the district government, Pool of Engineers (POE), and Social Mobilization Partner (SMP) regarding MIS updates required from time to time; 5. Prepare periodic reports on the different activities and components of the Programme as per the specific requirements of the EU and for internal consumption; 6. Prepare activity briefs for information sharing and progress tracking against the implementation plan; 7. Supervise and ensure quality preparation and representativeness of Village Council Development Plans (VCDPs); including close coordination with Assistant Director Local Government for their approval and processing; 8. Supervise and ensure quality preparation and compliance with guidelines and criteria of new Livelihood and Community Investment Fund (CIF) projects; 9. Interact with other development organizations and projects in the district to stay abreast of new developments; 10. Provide assistance in the development of M&E aspects of community driven projects, including training for junior level staff on data collection and entry, and data management; for middle level staff on data cleansing, consolidation, entry, analysis, and interpretation; for senior level staff in project management and M&E design; 11. Consultant / Third Party Monitor of UK-DFID Funded Projects
1.Develop short Questionnaires, formats and other research tools with the concern of project team for the collection of both qualitative and quantitative data.
2. Collect data (both Qualitative and Quantitative), conduct FGDs, KIIs, collect photographic evidence of the areas visited and document direct field observations and reporting.
3. To monitor the ongoing activities of MYHP by using event observation checklists, compiling success stories and case studies according to the work plans.
4. Participate in daily de-briefing session to ensure 100% compliance to protocols in fulfillment of said tasks and flag any persistent issues/problems.
5. Consistently coordinate with the Project Coordinator and Programme M&E Manager to review and submit work and receive additional instructions.
Project Coordinator
1. Provide technical and coordination support and guidance based on ground realities and operating business environment regarding initiatives under MRSC Project to GFA Entec AG, Switzerland.
2. Design and develop a system and process for a project team to conduct various activities under the project to capacity building, training and roll out activities in the field.
3. Develop a resource mobilisation strategy and business initiatives to support MRSC set up and making it sustainable through developing innovative plans and ideas.
Manager Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation & Research
1.Overall management of all project activities under PEDO funded 99 Mini / Micro Hydro Power Projects.

5. Analyze programme successes and failures through LFA-based impact studies, including Gender issues.

Programme Manager

Field Monitoring Officer
1. Delivery of Acted supplies to end-users (i.e. tracking of ACTED supplies from ACTED warehouse to the end user, identifying any delays, bottle necks and undelivered supplies)
2. Specific issues/difficulties with regard to the ACTED Programme response (Emergency Response) including the effectiveness of the approach from the view of the end-user.
3. The progress and performance of ACTED cooperating and implementing partners
4. The unmet needs of women and children in the affected areas
5. Key emerging issues arising from Field monitoring, any social issues affecting children or young, girls and women in general and any other related issues in the field, including outbreaks, malnutrition etc.
