Served as an internee in Pakistan Meteorological Department for 4 weeks.My role and responsibility was:• Analysis and Interpretation of the seismic data of Muzaffarabad region from period 2009 - 2011.• The following things were done in the interpretation process:
Identification of Primary and Secondary waves from seismic data.
Further calculation includes the estimation of depth, magnitude and location of Epi center.
Calculation the P-wave and S-wave arrival time and further calculation of S-P time.
Applying filters to remove un-necessary noise.
• The result obtained was also compared to the online data from USGS website, this decreases the chances of errors.• The software used for the analysis of seismic data was Scream 4.5 developed by Guralap Network system.
