Design and Fabrication of Road Power Generation Through rack and pinion

<p>The growing rate of industrialization and scarcity of natural resources has lead the world in the  research area of renewable energy . Renewable energy has wide use in modern world ,as it is pollution free, ecofriendly and can be used for long period of time. The proposed technique discussed in this paper as a solution is based on  rack and pinion mechanism fabricated for speed breakers. This concept of generating renewable energy from road is an innovative step in energy generation field because of having  many advantages over conventional energy resources and being environment friendly.</p> <p> A Road Power Generation (RPG) technique bases on rack and pinion mechanism in which wasted energy from the movement of vehicles on road surface is converted in mechanical energy that is converted in 12V DC by a DC generator same as in other power generation units like in Thermal, Hydro and Nuclear etc. A Road Power Generation (RPG) technique contains fabricated  and assembled components used as in standard form, that includes , Rack and Pinion, Shafts, Bearings, Springs, DC generator ,voltage regulator. Inverter and battery.</p> <p>This technique of generation of power has tremendous benefits that it contributes nothing to environment & global warming, occupy less space, it has easy maintenance,  and can be installed at close service and loads. Road Power Generation (RPG) has applications in different areas in Street Lighting, Commercial loads, Road Signals, Signal Boards and lighting of bus stops.</p> <p>At all consequently this technique of power generation has been innovative step in the field of power engineering, being clean, green, environmental friendly, has reduced dependence over day by day depleting conventional energy sources.</p>
