Responsible for day to day restaurant operation
Responsible for maintaining high level of customer service and satisfaction
Effectively delegate jobs and responsibilities to restaurant staff
Communicate with management across the company to ensure effective running of the business as well customer satisfaction
Work with management personnel to set targets and incentives to increase turnover and profitability of restaurant
Review and monitor, with bookkeeper or other financial personnel, expenditures to ensure that they conform to budget limitations. Work to improve performance.
Supervise operation of restaurant to maximize profitability, minimize legal liability, and conform to Dubai Municipality Regulations.
Plan food and beverages lists suited to the restaurant and its clientele. Monitor the purchasing of supplies and perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high quality of preparation and service.
Work with management personnel to plan and organize restaurant events.
Organize and oversee regular training of all restaurant staff concerning the menu, customer service, customer satisfaction and handling customer complaint in efficient manner.
Deal with customer complaints in keeping with the companys customer service ethos and methods
Maintain a positive and pro active attitude at all times
Manage staff disagreements, grievances and situations according to the companys staff code of conduct, procedures and relevant policies
Actively seek to improve skills and achieve personal development
Comply with all health and safety regulations according to Dubai Municipality.

o Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
o Manages sales of the company’s products and services. Ensures consistent, profitable growth
in sales revenues through positive planning deployment and management of sales personnel. Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
o Assist in recruitment and placement of required staff; establishment of organizational structure; delegation of tasks and accountabilities. Establish work schedules. Supervise staff. Monitor and evaluate performance in partnership.
o Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams and sales targets.
o Educates sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.
o Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures.
o Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational and sales activities. Implement and manage operational and sales plans and sales forecasting.

o Manages operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts including daily decision-making, staff performance, customer interaction and satisfaction, scheduling, planning, product quality and cleanliness. Responsible for the operation efficiency and profitability of the operation. Develops and implements plans for continuous service improvements, optimizing profits and increasing sales. Ensures that brand standards are implemented and compiled properly.
o Ensures consistent planning, production, preparation, sales forecasting and prompt delivery of food.
o Provides direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
o Ensures that proper cash handling procedures are followed. Prepares reports at end of a shift that may include: daily labor control, daily food control, financial statements and daily sales.
o Creates and executes plans for unit sales, profit and employee development.
o Reviews ongoing performance results and identifies needs of employees. Implements coaching or mentoring partnerships as appropriate.
o Communicates clearly and directly with restaurant staff concerning performance expectations, productivity, and accountability.
