JOB PURPOSE:-
Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results. Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans. Maintains sales volume, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand. Completes national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. Maintains national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Maintains national sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. JOB PURPOSE:
Manages the customer portfolio for the branch responsible for mobilization of deposits and assisting first time on opening their bank accounts. Liaises with current and prospective clients to provide financial advice, educate them on the Bank’s services and products in line with the customer’s personal requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages the customer portfolio for the branch
Meets and exceeds sales revenue and volume targets within specific time frame.
Enhances and establishes relationships with existing and prospective customers in the segment by visiting/talking to clients on daily basis.
Prepares and maintains monthly performance reports and complete client records.
Custodian of deposits and fund mobilization.
Assists first time customers in opening bank accounts and ensures submission of complete documentation.
Deals with customers enquiries and ensures resolution.
Provides updates to supervisor and management weekly on performance and market realities.
Ensures adherence to all regulatory and legal requirements set by internal / external auditors.
Provides high level of customer service to clients in line with standards set by senior management, irrespective of account size.
Manages and monitors portfolio attrition
Balances priorities to meet sales targets and serve customers within the branch.
Ensures all customer records are kept confidential and are protected.
Coordinates with internal departments and within departments to ensure smooth operations and good working relationships.

Achieving sales targets, soliciting account accounts by hitting the right target market.
Ensuring discrepancy free account opening.
Ensuring Customers overall high satisfaction, Reduced Problem Incidence Rate and increased problem Resolution Satisfaction and meeting SQ target
To maintain proper attendance at all times and follow SOP within sales.
To attend regular morning meetings at 09:00am.
To have a complete knowledge of the bank and the product they are selling. Ensure a minimum of 80% marks in quizzes. Which will be conducted monthly bases.
To ensure daily call Sales Managers review reports on a fortnightly basis.
Ensure proper follow up with customers.
To ensure that CDD, AML, Mis-selling policies are understood and followed at all times.
To follow all responsibilities as stated in the Code of Conduct.
To work within a team by the following the sales process.
To ensure that no customer applications is misplaced and all applications are kept in safe custody (Fire proof cabinet).
To ensure performance as per ESAU.
To ensure no miss selling sales take place at any time.
To ensure that all terms and agreements in the contract are understood and followed during the course of the job.
