• Raising community awareness
• Mobilization of the community volunteers, Members of Village Development Committees (VDCs) and Disabled People Organizations (DPOs) regarding disabilities issues and accessibility options.
• Follow a standardized mobilization work plan to be implemented including the use of community meeting, community forum and other approaches to community mobilization, International event celebration and awareness. Work to achieve significant change in the behaviors and attitudes of communities.
• Conduct regular meetings with Village Development Committees (VDCs) and DPOs to discuss program objectives, mobilize community participation and act as a mentor throughout the planning and implementation processes
• Build on existing relationships or create a relationship between service providers and community for rehabilitation of PWDs.
• Training of masons, VDCs and DPOs on organizational development, self-growth and accessibility
• Capacity building of PWDs, local community and service providers.
• Strengthening coordination with Government & other Stockholders.
• Development IEC material.
• Maintaining data, reports of community mobilization sessions and meetings
• Perform any other duties as may be requested by the supervisor

Complete a comprehensive training to ensure correct usage of the Personal Data Assistant (PDA), IRC rules and regulations, as well as the objectives and importance of the assessment
Travel daily with your assessment team to pre-identified locations with high concentrations of IDPs
Visit IDP families’ allocated door to door (ie. At their homes) with to conduct the IVAP household survey using a PDA
Correctly enter all data required from each household showing no partiality
Verify the completion of data collection at the end of each household interview
Upload collected household data on weekly basis
Conduct oneself with respect in all work with IRC, treating all persons (particularly IDPs and other team members) with dignity and professionalism
Follow IRC’s security protocol and IVAP standard operational procedures at all times
Take direction and complete the tasks assigned to you by your IVAP Supervisor
To conduct WASH assessment on targeted area
To demonstrate the use of WASH specific items which need special knowledge for operation and maintenance, especially when using chemical i.e. water purification tablets, water treatment equipments.
To conduct participatory approach in promoting good water, sanitation and hygiene practices in targeted area
To conduct participatory monitoring of water and sanitation facilities usage and maintenance with community
To inform local authority and health department if there is outbreak in community that requires immediate response
To document schedule plan, field report and update to Hygiene Promotion Team Leader in timely manner
1. The PM is responsible for providing the overall operational support to all programmatic activities.
2. Direct, supervise, and coordinate the efforts of the operational and support staff attached to the Field Office.
3. Allocate the Field Office’s available resources to the various projects implemented out of his Field Office, including vehicles, office equipment, offices, etc.
4. On a quarterly basis, evaluate all direct subordinates and organize direct subordinates for the evaluation of all Field Office based operation and support staff.
