خلاصہ

I belong to the place of mountains which contain different sects and religions. This area which is most serene on the planet which is called Gilgit Baltistan. I am Wasim Akram from the semi conservative and remote district Ghizer Yasin which is connected with Tajikistan from one side.
I am currently enrolled in Karakorum international university of Gilgit Baltistan studying Agriculture (Horticulture). I have selected this field of study due to my personal interest and according to the needs of our area. Agriculture is the basic need of our area because we have enough agricultural land but due to lack of technology, skills and expertise in the field of agriculture we are unable to get maximum benefits from it. That's why I have selected this field of study to wax my knowledge and skills and to help my area.
I am a kind of person who believes that hard work pays off. Since my childhood I have been engaged in various activities like teaching small children, helping old people etc. I have also a keen interest in sports, debate competitions and other activities. It was very difficult for my family to help us get into different fields of higher education. My father is uneducated but a true visionary. He led our family and brought us all up to that standard where we all live among very few of our relatives who are well educated and well settled.
I consider myself an energetic, hardworking and ambitious individual. I have always enjoyed an outdoor lifestyle. I joined volunteering in 2011 when I was in F.Sc and I am also working with scouting and different social organizations. I am also working with a local education board which is working for early childhood education, career counselling and English language enhancement. I am working with this organization since 2012 and I'm also working with social welfare board which is working for the improvement of life standard of poor people.
