Punjab Saaf Pani Company has been established by Government of Punjab as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) having Mandate to develop, design, plan & execute projects for providing safe drinking water to rural areas with priority to un-served and underserved communities.
Responsibilities includes:
• Ensure that NFR (Notes for Record)/Field Diary are received from sub Engineer on timely basis.
• Carry out surprise visits at different sites in the district to ensure the integrity of the NFRs received.
• Provide reliable information to the Regional Director, and support and monitor Sub Engineers.
• Carry out required detail engineering surveys.
• Analyze independent evaluation reports received from sub engineers.
• Carry out topographical surveys / contour survey, where required, all other surveys for preparation of detailed engineering design along with EMCs for each of the schemes in the District.
• Oversee and evaluate the performance of EMCs and Contractors in the light of NFR (Notes for Record)/Field Diary.
• Carry out Electric Resistivity Survey alongwith consultant where required to ascertain the yield and quality of ground water aquifer system as required
• Develop a thorough understanding of the TORs of contracts with the EMCs and Contractors and prepare a Gap report in line with his/her understanding and the NFR.
• Check and verify the work of the Contractor, quality and quantity of the construction / material used by applying established engineering technique
• Supervise testing and commissioning of the completed works of the scheme
• Ensure Operation & Maintenance of the water treatment plants .
• Cross check the invoices of EMCs and Contractors received from the Regional Director with actual work done on site. Communicate any exceptions to the relevant Regional Director.
• Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to evaluate if it meets the project specifications.

Worked as Senior Engineer(Electrical) in USAID Power Distribution Program (PDP) which aims to facilitate the improvements in electric power distribution utilities across Pakistan. PDP is designed to transform the electricity sector, particularly the distribution companies (DISCOs). The challenges are significant and DISCOs sit at the nexus of the problems that prevent long-term sustainability of the power sector. Loss levels are staggering, operations are inefficient, tariffs are unrealistic and demoralized utility staffs too often lack the capacity needed to perform effectively. Responsibilities include:
• Preparing Panning Proposals of 11 KV feeder for next five years by considering the Benefit to cost ratio.
• Training the WAPDA planning engineers on SynerGEE about load flow analysis and electrical Planning.
• Installation & Commissioning of AMR Energy meter under USAID LDI Project in all Grid Stations of LESCO, GEPCO, FESCO, MEPCO and PESCO.
• Training the WAPDA PDC(Power Dispastch Centre) Staff about the propose use of smart meter server.
• Load Flow Analysis for installation of 50 and 75 KVA CSP(Completely Self Protected) transformer in congested areas.
• Technical Analysis and preparing BOQ with calculation of KW savings for installation of switched Capacitor and Voltage regulator on 11 KV feeders in USAID Volt Var Optimization Project.
• Preparing LT fesibility proposal including BOQ(Bill of Quantity),GIS Maps,Sketches,Staking Sheets and Calaculation of benefit to cost ratio and economic cable size on proper location for installation of 500 kilometer ABC(Aerial bundled conductor) Project in congested area of MEPCO.

Worked as Energy Auditor in Energy Efficiency and Capacity Project (EEC) that is a three-year effort funded by US Agency for International Development (USAID). The EEC project will improve the power supply situation in Pakistan by reducing losses and lowering demand for power by replacing energy efficient motors and VFDs. Job description includes;
• Perform Pre-Installation energy audit of old existing low efficient industrial motors in the industrial sectors in Cement, Chemical, Textile, Fertilizer, FMCG, Food & Beverages and auto mobile industries.
• Evaluation of efficiency of existing low efficiency motors using different methods.
• Installation commissioning of energy efficient motors and VFDs.
• Perform Post-installation energy audit of energy efficient industrial motors and VFDs.
• Evaluation of efficiency and energy savings after post audit activity.
• Preparing the weekly, monthly and yearly energy saving report.
• Preparing the energy audit kit that includes Power Analyzer, Tachometer, Vibrometer

• Digital Mapping of LT/HT Transmission and Distribution Lines using ArcGIS Software.
