Field Monitoring Officer
Project: EPI, funded by UNICEF.
Monitored government vaccinators at fixed sites and outreach locations to ensure compliance with immunization protocols. Collected data, prepared reports, and identified coverage gaps to enhance vaccination efforts. Collaborated with government health departments to improve outreach and effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities
Within delegated authority and under the supervision of the WFP Programme Officer, the Field Monitor Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:

Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the assistance programme at the sub-office /field level, in close collaboration with the cooperating partners;
Represent WFP at programme related coordination meetings and similar activities;
Monitor and review the distribution and redemption of cash and vouchers, and verify that the related data management and reporting is accurate;
Supervise the efficient and proper distribution of food items and vouchers at the site and provide feedback to the WFP Officer and others on the distribution;
Undertake post-distribution monitoring as well as monitoring of shops, as required;

    To conduct hygiene and MHM sessions to sensitize the community on healthy practices to implement them in their daily life.
    Committee formation at village level and to organize and conduct training for WASH Committee members.
    Identification of CRPs and capacity building training for CRPs.
    Formation of school WASH clubs and to conduct hygiene and MHM sessions at the school level.
 

Duties of an UNICEF enumerator include the following: inquire about a variety of specific information including a person’s name, age, religious preference, address and state of residency; gather, record and encode information from a survey; get in touch with individuals to be interviewed in their own home or office by mail, phone, or in person; recognize and give an account of problems in obtaining data; submit completed tasks to a supervisor and discuss developments daily; review data gathered from an interview to check if they are complete and accurate; help people in filling out the questionnaires; and find and record addresses and households.
