With more than 15 years of solid experience in leading and managing multiple development and humanitarian projects with quality, high technical expertise in program development, management, research, monitoring and evaluation, understanding and practical experience in situations like post-earthquake, floods and protracted conflict, I have strong experience & expertise in humanitarian response, early recovery and rehabilitation interventions focusing on education, WASH, Shelter, Food Security & Livelihood and community based resilience and recovery programming, coordination and program management in complex situations. Moreover, proven expertise in developing concept notes and proposals for UNICEF, WHO, SDC, GIZ-Pakistan, Misereor-Germany, Abt. Associates-USAID, and other international organizations, developing partnerships, building and maintaining strategic working relations with donors and stakeholders at all levels, highly skilled in people management, carrying out programmatic reviews and appraisals, developing and handling projects budgets and developing programtic strategies for effective execution of programs and field operations. Responsible for leading the consulting department and team, management and coordination of projects/programs in the areas of education, food security & livelihood, WASH and climate change, research, monitoring and evaluation and capacity building interventions across Pakistan and Nigeria. Networking and establishing strong working relations with partners, clients and donor agencies, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables in a quality manner as per project’s agreements. Identify and pursue new funding opportunities to diversify clients of the company across Pakistan, Afghanistan and West Africa (particularly Nigeria). End to end management of various emergency projects (COMNet, Community Based Vaccination funded by UNICEF-Pakistan and Polio Third Party Personnel supported by WHO-Pakistan, retail site staff capacity building & training and audit funded by SHELL across Pakistan. Management of staff and offices across Pakistan for smooth operations of the programs and ensuring quality, compliance and accountability. Coordination with donor, staff and other stakeholders at the national and provincial level for building working relationships. Preparing budgets and implementation plans for efficient and quality implementation of projects’ interventions. Designing and implementing M&E and complaint management systems for different projects. Participation in undertaking consulting assignments related to the M&E area. Provided technical inputs in responding to RFPs and preparation of EOIs and proposals for consulting assignments.
Responsible for undertaking appraisal visits of PPAF-World Bank partner organizations and development of partnership agreements and implementation plans. Providing technical inputs to partners’ developed projects for smooth implementation. Reviewing partner organizations’ projects, undertaking strategic reviews of partners and monitoring and evaluating partners’ implemented projects in different thematic sectors.
Responsible for overall project management, implementation and coordination of civil society human and institutional development programme (supported by SDC-IC) in 26 targeted districts across Pakistan. Reviewing the project proposal and LFA of partner organizations. Monitoring the implementation of projects and undertaking project reviews and learning workshops to ensure quality. Organizing and delivering project reviews and learning workshops. Implementation of primary education program in six districts of KP, 02 districts of Punjab and two districts of Sindh. Additional responsibilities were the implementation of the teachers’ training program. Inputs in writing of project progress and completion reports.
