With NEEDs [Basic Network for Education & Economic Development Services] I have worked as Program Officer for about One year in Charsadda KP. Where the main tasks involved were to assist the management and program team in developing concept papers, preparing proposals and implementation of work plans (including log frames, activity schedules, monitoring and evaluation schedules) for submission to major donors.
With “United Rural Development Organization” URDO I have worked as “Project Manager” under governance project namely “STAEP” funded by UK department for International Development (DFID)/ Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands managed by The Asia Foundation [TAF] and implemented by FREE & FAIR ELECTION NETWORK [FAFEN].

Project Design, Coordination and Implementation:
Act as a focal person for all FAFEN activities.
Coordinate the implementation of all governance activities and initiatives to ensure timely and effective results.
To ensure all activity reports are submitted to FAFEN Secretariat on time.
Develop and implement the research agenda and facilitate research for advocacy.
Provide technical support in advocacy and research.
Management and Supervision:
Supervise all project staff and provide leadership to the staff in achieving the program outcome in the designated constituencies.
To provide administrative and technical supervision to the team.
Financial Management:
Management of budgets, expenditures and expenditure projections related to assigned project.
Effective implementation of work plan as per the available budget.
Advisory Function:
Provide timely advice on issues of local and national governance by remaining up-to-date with governance actors, ideas, activities and initiatives.
Partnership and Networking:
Develop working linkages with elected representatives at national, provincial and local levels in designated constituencies.
Building relationship with the media for wider outreach.

- Be in-charge of initial training of activists in the Community Based Organizations (CBOs) COSs of the local community.
- Coordinate meetings for discussion between COSs and communities with the relevant Authorities.
- Coordinate, where applicable, awareness creation of unfair /unjust unlawful practices.
- Accountable in case of failure of field activists and inform the Programs officer of the same or Programs Manager the reasons thereof and suggest remedial action.

• Working with the project manager and the Monitoring and Evaluation Officers, prepare monthly, annual and end-of-project narrative reports and other reports as required.
• Compile/collate major donor narrative reports.
• Participate in NGO assessments, task-force teams, workshops, trainings, & support office visits etc.
• Work with the monitoring team to monitor program’s progress using the program indicator tracking tables
• Alert senior management of issues raised by monitoring if the goals and objectives are achieved and non-financial grant requirements are being adhered to.
