Visit ginning factories on regular basis per visit schedule agreed with SSC
Conduct an introductory visit to each registered ginning factory to verify that they have managed each facility as per agreement through ginners consent from
Maintain regular contact and communication with person designated by PU/LG for communication of BC availability information to ginner.
Support ginners in understanding the BC availability list
In collaboration with ginner, plan and conduct the training of their middle-men on Better Cotton Supply Chain requirements (especially segregation)
To monitor and report on ginner compliance with Better Cotton Supply Chain requirement, in particular:
To ensure that Better Cotton arriving at gins is accompanied by the appropriate BCI license numbers.
To ensure ginners are keeping the necessary records as per BCI requirements
To monitor, support and report on ginner updating of the BTS, and the printing and use of UBICs.
To monitor, analyse and verify the information in the Documented Chain Of Custody with announced received seed cotton.
To monitor and verify the physical presence of BC in ginning factories per farmer deliveries and announced received seed cotton
