• To maintain the plant equipment and maximize their availability for uninterrupted plant operation by following different maintenance strategies, procedures and through proper job and spares planning.
• Provides technical support and direction to subordinates to ensure that work requests are completed.
• Leading a work force of highly skilled foremen, technicians and other experts to ensure maintenance and workshop activities.
• Adopting Preventive Maintenance Schedules for all equipment and periodic checking of Machineries.
• Prepare and send the preventive/predictive & corrective activities held in the maintenance division to all the concerned authorities on daily basis.
• Preparing maintenance orders for breakdown & preventive maintenance activities, maintenance notifications, purchase requisitions, material reservations etc.
• Keeping the track of maintenance as per planning and distributing the responsibility to subordinates accordingly in order to avoid maintenance on delay.
• Timely execution of maintenance orders without any delay in the respective shift and preparation of maintenance report.
• Attending daily meeting with all department delegates in order to discuss regarding general issues, breakdown of equipment’s for continual improvement in the process and system.
• Ensuring that the Tool Box Talks and safety summary is briefed to the team daily. Ensure that all PPE, Confined space and LOTO procedures are followed in respect to the safe maintenance of the equipment.

Execute all mechanical maintenance activities comply with all safety procedures such as LOTO, Confined Space and PPE .Implementing preventive and corrective maintenance regimes.
Break down maintenance (including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical) of Plants & machinery
Execute the daily inspection of mechanical equipment.
Ensure the update of equipment history records.
Ensuring plant availability and asset reliability
Suggesting improvement plans for improving efficiency of plant equipment and team.
Helping maintaining equipment inventory.
Maintain online daily work log.
Leading team of junior technicians, and aids to achieve above goals.
Coordinate with Members regarding Safety, Health & Environment related matters.

Areas of Responsibilities:

• To carry out all mechanical maintenance work complies with all safety rules and use of PPE.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Carry out daily inspections, attend breakdowns, servicing of Plant Rotary and Static Equipment mainly Compressors, Pumps, Valves including the Major repairing and overhauling of machines to ensure smooth, effective and efficient operation of the plant.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems associated with process equipment.

Successfully completed three years Apprenticeship training in trade of “Mechanical maintenance” from Jan 2007 to Dec 2009. It was comprised of practical training and related theoretical instruction.
After completion of apprenticeship worked as a Mechanical fitter till July 2010

• Execute all mechanical maintenance work accordingly as assigned by Supervisor with fully compliance to SOPs and safety rules and regulation.
• Repair/replacement of worn /defective components or equipment
