I am Working as a Network Engineer and my primary duties encludes;
·         Installation, configuration and Networking of Routers and Switches.
·         Configuring different Routing Protocols (RIP, IS-IS, EIGRP OSPF).
·         Designed Virtual Private Network (VPN) site to site and remote access solutions.
·         Maintenance and management of security devices, including.
·         Manage connectivity & Infrastructure.
·         Windows / Server Installation.
·         DHCP / Active Directory Configuration.
·         Network Troubleshooting.
·         Managed application patches, data backup, security changes and network configuration and replaced boards, changed servers and loaded and tested software applications.
·         Installation, configuration and Networking of Routers and Switches.

Major Responsibilities were:
 
·         Configure, manage and evaluate multi-protocol network elements for effective end- to-end communications.
·         Installation, configuration and Networking of Firewalls and applying different policies
·         Optimizing the performance of hardware devices
·         Deploy and maintain WAN, LAN, Wireless, Voice, and Video solutions and networks including servers, routers, switches, and related hardware
·         Monitored servers and escalated emergency technical issues beyond scope to maintain optimum up-time.
·         Installation, configuration and Networking of Routers and Switches
·         Providing support to on going projects.

Major Task performed.
·         Develop the network planning, installs upgrades and supports the network.
·         Monitor networks, review network performance reports and define action plans for improvements.
·         Assists in analyzing, planning, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting and enhancing large complex systems or networks consisting of a combination that may include mainframes, mini-computers, LANS, WANs and an enterprise networking backbone.
·         Establish configuration standards, as well as configure routing, and switching equipment.
·         Maximizes network performance, troubleshoots network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
·         Secures network system by enforcing policies.
·         Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information; managing projects.
·         Document new system components, or modifications to existing components.
