Activities Performed:

Preparation of  Feasibility Studies,  
Oversee the planning implementation and monitoring of assigned civil works taking place in their respective districts.

Responsibilities: 

To coordinate the operation, implementation and monitoring of the WASH infrastructure. 
To implement the gravity schemes. 
Performing duty as per given schedule. 
Checking layout as per drawing.
Experience with electrical works supervision (solar Tube well systems) 
Prepare and submit weekly progress reports.
Preparation of weekly / monthly work plans against PMT (performance measured time frame) by ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks in the stipulated time period.
Assist in preparation of drawings, BoQs & cost estimates of infrastructure schemes as per IR commitment & set standards (provide an example i.e. sphere, EQ resistant structure, etc).
Assist in analysis of construction material e.g. elemental composition, dimensions & quality, etc according to drawing & specification.
Assist in conducting a market survey for proposed materials availability, unit rates of material/labors and provide realistic estimates of the proposed activities of the WASH project
To be able to get different materials sampling, on different intervals, for testing and quality check & work assurance with approved samples during the course of implementation at the field
Take part in the supplier selection process by evaluating the samples against specifications given in approved BOQs/estimates at field level as & when needed.
Ensure the layouts, levels and all activities at site both pre & post construction to know whether construction work is being done according to drawings and specifications or not.
Actively seek and propose solutions and courses of action when facing implementation issues;
Supervise the Contractors’ daily works at project sites;
In field sight make recommendations on issues and seek instructions when needed;
Conduct institutional technical assessments along with the Contractor;
Close coordination with line manager for effective implementation of project activities.
Perform any other tasks as may be assigned;

Attends project status meeting with donor. 
Conducts weekly progress meeting with project coordinator.
Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and other progress reports for management’s info.
Ensure proper filling of forms & formats as per desired standard.
