Mr. Tariq Khilji is a development professional having an experience of more than 10 years in social development and education sectors and a strong background in Teaching and Learning. He has served as an effective and efficient District Field Coordinator. He has proven skills in community mobilizations and developing linkages with government line departments and project stakeholders. He has been working as Project Manager in an education project in district Khairpur for five years (2012-2017) with the Indus Resource Centre (IRC), the project was supported by Developments in literacy (DIL). Then, Mr. Khilji has completed A UNICEF supported project " Promoting Child Rights in Cotton Farming Areas of Sindh" as Project Coordinator from May to December, 2017 (eight months). He served as Project Coordinator in USAID supported project "Pathways to Success" from the platform of the Indus Resource Centre (IRC) from January to March 2018.
From August 2018 to August 2019, Mr. Tariq Hussain had worked as School Coordinator/Manager with Premier Diverse Learning Concepts (PDLC) a subsidiary Organization of the Beaconhouse School System at Government High School Kolab Jial, District Khairpur, Sindh.
From September 2019 to date, Mr Tariq Hussain is working as District Coordinator with Sukkur IBA University. This project is a public private partnership venture between School Education and Literacy Department, Govt. of Sindh and Sukkur IBA University routed through Public Private Partnership Node. This venture aims to improve the overall quality of 16 government schools in Sukkur district.

Indus Resource Centre (IRC) is implementing the project “Pathways to Success” in District Ghotki and Karachi, Sindh Pakistan to empower the target adolescent girls between the age group of 15 to 19 in underserved communities through vocational training i.e. Early Childhood Education (ECE), Indus Bit and Web designing, MS Office, Artisans, and beauty aesthetician course. Those targeted beneficiaries are provided entrepreneurship skills and livelihood opportunities as well. The project is funded by USAID through its contractor World Learning with ENGRO foundation (EF) as the lead partner and IRC as its implementing partner. The project beneficiaries have been selected from Union Council Mirpur II, Bandh, Umar Draho, Deharki and Reharki of District Ghotki, Sindh, Pakistan.
Project Coordinator
Promoting Child Rights in Cotton Forming Areas of Sindh (CRCF) Project supported by UNICEF is being implemented by Indus Resource Centre in 4 Union Councils of Khairpur. The ultimate objective of this project is to provide education opportunities to children in the project areas using CFS strategies.
The project will focus on improving the quality of learning environment, building capacities of teachers and on bringing children from out of school in system of education in targeted locations of District Khairpur Sindh. For this purpose this 3 days training sessions were organized for 230 Primary school teachers and 30 NFE-Learning Facilitators on Play based learning methodologies and positive disciplining approaches to promote paly based activities in schools and create an active learning environment by catching the interest of students through play based activities.
