I am a dedicated advocate for women and child rights, as well as a development practitioner specializing in Safeguarding (SG) and Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI). I am highly passionate about promoting Gender and Protection Mainstreaming, and Menstrual Health and Hygiene in my work.
· Curated the transition strategy of child-safe spaces to drop-in-centers.
· Developed the transformation strategy of women and girls' safe spaces to community-led structures and made sure that the transition was smooth.
· Implemented measures to gather both proactive and reactive client feedback to enhance program quality.
· Pushed for the installation of Feedback and Complaint Response boxes across all DICs, along with the provision of child-friendly tools. This ensures that even children who are unable to read or write, and lack access to complaint hotlines, can still provide valuable feedback.
· Assisted the GBV Manager in drafting a MoU between IRC and WDD in Sindh. The objective of this MoU is to protect individuals from GBV through system strengthening.
· Contextualized the GBV Safety audit FGD tool for the clients enrolled in women and girls’ safe spaces and oriented the team on the tool.
· Developed a District Child Protection Unit Monitoring Framework/Checklist tool in collaboration with UNICEF. The framework/checklist is designed for use by Government, UNICEF, and NGOs supporting the establishment and functioning of District Child Protection Units in Pakistan.
· Proactively provide technical support in CP and GBV case management in coordination with Gender and Protection Coordinator.
· Provided technical guidance and support to the project team across three provinces to enhance their capacity in CP and GBV programming.
· Managed project budget of USD 2.5 million and procurement processes to maximize impact and efficiency.
· Worked on the Project No Cost Extension budgetary and operational working.
· Worked with field teams on project-related services and serve as the point of contact between assigned field offices.
· Tracked project deliverables and supervise project performance in the assigned topics and/or geographic areas.
· Prepared quarterly donor reports.
