Job Responsibilities:
Conduct energy and process audits of Sugar industries for resource and energy efficiency
Providing professional and concise audit reports and action plans
Electrical distribution system testing, analysis and troubleshooting in accordance with standards which includes;
Power Factor Improvement (PFI) Plant design and testing
Motor's Performance Analysis (MPA) & motor replacement feasibility development
Technical and commercial feasibility development for VFDs for variable load demands of different machines according to the process requirements
Lighting system testing (Lux level testing)
Thermo-graphical Testing of electrical panels, cables, motors and transformers
Machine Noise level and vibration testing
Load management & Power quality testing (voltage imbalance testing)
Compressors On/Off load optimizations & compressed air system energy efficiency
Professional trainings on audit methodology, audit findings and recommendations
Performing internal inspection of all process plant equipment- Boilers, Compressors, Transformers, motors, electrical panels and pump sets etc.
Development of Sugar industry existing and proposed Models based on Sugars International LLC (Process simulator) covering Milling section, Juice Heating & Clarification, Evaporation and Crystallization
Worked as Energy Auditor for the World Bank Project "Punjab Energy Efficient Municipal Service Delivery"
Job Responsibilities:
Analysis of energy consumption and costs: Collection, organization, and analysis of past energy bills
Comparison of energy performance: Determination of the energy use and resources for comparison of internal periodic performance, from one facility to a similar one, or from one system to another
Profiling of energy use patterns: Determination of the time and relationships of energy use including the electricity demand profile
Inventorying energy use: Preparation of list of all energy-consuming loads/efficiencies in the audit area and measure their consumption and demand
Identification of Energy Management Opportunities (EMOs): Including operational and technological measures to reduce energy usage
Assessment of the benefits: Measurement of the potential energy and cost savings, along with any other benefits
Assessment and recommendation regarding investments in other power sources including solar power, in view of unreliable power supply and potential economic dividends at certain locations
Developing technical proposal and convincing clients in and outside office
Giving on-site technical services to the industry
Action plan preparation and implementation for significant problems/tasks
To provide engineering support by responding to mechanical and electrical work orders
Supervision of the electrical workshops
Ensuring personnel safety, managing their leaves, job rotation and emergency deputation
