One of my main tasks involves approving purchase requests from various program departments and engaging with vendors. Creating Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs) falls under my purview, along with evaluating bids and issuing tenders to different vendors. I work closely with my colleagues, providing assistance in preparing procurement documentation for various items, and diligently update and maintain the procurement and services tracker on a daily basis.
Moreover, I take charge of event management for a range of events and training sessions conducted by different program departments. Fleet management for all vehicles is part of my responsibilities, wherein I ensure logbooks are up to date and issue gate passes to staff members when necessary.
An additional vital aspect of my role is the management of the organization's assets. This includes tagging assets, procuring new ones, and conducting asset reconciliation at the end of each year.
