As the Procurement Manager of a 660MW coal-fired power plant, I'm involve in strategic procurement of capital expenditure (Capex) items, essential spares, and services required for plant maintenance. My role involves developing and executing procurement strategies that ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality equipment and services.
My Job is to Negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Additionally, I have to collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand, manage inventory, and oversee the procurement budget, ensuring that all procurement activities support the plant’s operational efficiency and sustainability goals. My expertise in procurement and strong negotiation skills are crucial in maintaining the plant’s reliability and performance.

Assists Head of Procurement, for sourcing of goods, Services, Service Levels Agreements, and Annual Contracts.
Searching and in listing of new vendors for new projects.
Procurement of material by issuing RFQ’s to optimise the quality of goods with reducing cost. 
Obtaining different services through annual contract for community management and ongoing repair and maintenance operations and monitor the performance of service provider to maintain the quality of work.
Part of tenders and bidding process for upcoming projects and services.
Coordinating with all stake holders for their Purchase Requestions, Purchase Orders and Contracts.

Raw Material and component parts orders and planning. 
Import documentation and coordination with banks, clearing agency, suppliers and customers for order execution.
All responsibilities of logistics (Stores and Shipping) department. 

Implemented new procedure of shipping for finish goods.
Managing stores and shipping as per defined procedures and KPIs.
Ensuring that raw materials, consumables, tools, spares and any general running items are in stock and are
easily accessible, and that replenishment of running items is as per defined Minimum stock level
Maintaining stock level of finish goods and make sure that company timely achieves all its supply target.
Receive all goods as per OJ QMS, coordinate with quality department for quality inspection of all incoming
raw material and V2V.
Reasonable knowledge of ERP software in regard to posting of Raw Material Planning, Purchase Order,
GRNs, stock transfer, stock adjustment, and internal and external movement of inventory.
Receiving, dispatching and transferring of raw material to Lahore Plant and coordinate with the authorized
personnel for all stock activities
Coordinating with transport department for availability of vehicle, drivers, lifters and all distributing activities.
Performing verification and correction of all internal issuance by through Software.
Bi monthly reconciliation of physical stock with respect to stock report, and assist in monthly physical stock
taking activity by internal auditor.

Performed purchase activities as per Organizations ERP and QMS
Requesting quotations, generating comparative statement for evaluation of supplier, prepare and distribute
purchase orders.
Coordinate with suppliers for quality of goods, invoices and orders follow up.
Coordinate with stores for receipt of goods and timely update of GRN and finance for timely submission of
GRNs.

Worked in Supply chain Department Of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority during internship I worked in different Sub Departments of Supply Chain i.e Central Procurement, Local Purchase and Warehouse and Inventory using ERP Software ORACLE.
