Ensure all benefits related to custom duties and taxes are availed on imports. Remain up to date with FBR – Customs and other govt. issued SROs and orders, laws and procedures. Ensure compliance of notices and procedures described by Pakistan Customs, EDB, Sind Investment Board and State Bank of Pakistan with respect to imports and related remittances. Ensure accurate HS codes classification, custom duty, sales tax, income tax etc. Coordinate with shipping line, forwards, terminals, ports, CHYs, transporters and custom agents to manage import and export consignments and record ETA, ETD, ATA, ATD, Documents processing, GD filing, duties/taxes, Terminal Handling Charges, Yard Charges, DO charges, detention etc. Coordination with various govt. depts. as and when required. Prepare documents for exports, imports, LCs, open account and advance payments and disputes. Verification of duty/taxes requisitions and final invoices from custom agents and 3PLs.
