I am a dedicated development/ humanitarian worker with over 16 years of experience. Experience includes project management in Cash Transfer Programming (CTP), food security and livelihoods, WASH, in emergency, recovery and development scenarios with the mainstreaming of gender, protection and nutrition. My key competencies are in management, KAP surveys, post-distribution monitoring, impact evaluations, market assessments, designing cash modalities, proposal writing and donor reporting. My experiences includes work in Pakistan, the Philippines, Nigeria, Malawi, South Sudan and Iraq.

• Supervised the implementation of livelihood and Disaster Risk resdurion projects, funded by OFDA (3.5$ million) and funded by UNICEF (10$ million) for Typhoon affected areas in Tacloban. Projects include the distribution of commodity vouchers to restart livelihood activities for fishermen. Women were also provided with cash amount to restart income generation activities. Targeted barangays (villages) were sensitized on disaster risk management and on early warning systems. • Supervised 80 field staff. Provided technical support and guidance to the field team on designing of modalities, work plans, procurement plans and monitoring and evaluation. • Preparation/compilation of program reports, monitoring tools & donor reports. • Developed short videos based on success stories and case studies. • Liaised with the government department to activate the dead/inactive People’s Organizations (POs) to include them in the government’s safety net structure. This activity was successfully incorporated as a long-term projects of ACF. • Launched a study on cash transfer modalities and different financial institutions in Tacloban.
• Supervised the implementation of PEFSA III, PEFSA IV (a consortium of six INGOs) and ECHO in response to the floods of 2010 and 2012 through livelihood and disaster risk reduction activities. Program activities reached more than 25,000 (HH), providing recovery assistance. • Provided capacity building seminars to implementing partner’s field team and CARE’s field team, on project management and livelihood response activities in emergencies. • Carried out impact evaluation study on “gender and cash” to assess the impact of project interventions on women groups. • Negotiated sub-grant agreements with implementing partners and facilitated group cross visits of staff to the other NGOs and CARE sub offices. • Participated in working groups, UN forums, and other bilateral meetings with humanitarian actors working in the area. • Monitored project activities and provided timely support to the partners whenever need arose during the project implementation. • Carried out post distribution monitoring’s and prepared program reports, work plans, monitoring reports, budget follow-ups and designed surveys. • Participated in quarterly senior management committee meetings to provide help in developing new strategies for the organization based on the projects.
• Carried out rapid assessments of the flood-affected populations to identify needs to be addressed in EFSL and disaster risk reduction programs. • Supported in resource mobilization by contributing in developing and reviewing food security and livelihood proposals for the donors; ECHO, DFID and DEC etc. • More than 40,000 HH received support through multiple cash transfer modalities including; cash vouchers, commodity vouchers and cash distribution through banks as conditional and unconditional cash transfer programs. • Technical oversight of the implementation partners for all cash transfer program in Sindh Province and ensured that targets were met and partners were receiving timely support when is required. • Carried out continuous assessment and strengthened the cash transfer program by holding reflection and lessons learned meetings at different stages of the program. • Built capacity of implementing partners on Cash Transfer Program, Cash Transfer Mechanism, Distribution of NFIs, post distribution monitoring methods and tools, market prize survey, base line survey and techniques. • Developed formats and tools for Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM), base line survey and Market price monitoring with MEAL Officer. Facilitated trainings for the implementing partner’s staff to carry out all monitoring activities. • Represent Oxfam-GB in meetings with coordination cluster, government departments and with other international organizations

• Supported victims of domestic violence by providing them legal aid and through highlighting their problems in media.
• Worked in close coordination with media, law and order agencies, police and session courts to provide support to the victims of injustice by feudal lords, relatives and spouse.

• Worked on a collaborative CIDA-funded project titled Devolution Support Program in the central Punjab. I was involved in SPO’s Civil Society Network unit to develop linkages with CBOs, NGOs and private and public sectors with a strategy to run an advocacy campaign on different social issues. Organized different workshops, dialogues and demonstrations throughout different districts of central Punjab.
