Currently Working as a Credit Risk Analyst at Soneri Bank (Regional office Islamabad)
Conduct periodic credit review of Corporate & SME Business Credit Proposals for Quantitative & Qualitative risk
assessment, Industrial & Economic Analysis by analysing Credit data, Financial Statements Analysis, Limit
Structuring & ensure complete.
Conduct due diligence of fresh/renewal credit proposals and determine degree of credit risk involved through
Financial / Economic / Industrial analysis, projections, business model, business needs, obligor risk rating, market
feedback and industry viability.
Close Coordinating with Business Units, Customers and other departments for credit analysis and ensuring that
the proposals conform with the bank’s credit policy manual, SBP Regulations, internal audit requirements and
meet customer treasury requirements.
Support Regional Credits Manager/Credit committee in responding to field queries and providing justifications
regarding the approval or rejection of credit proposals based on rigorous analysis & due diligence.
Preparation of MIS Reports / Recommendations for submission to Senior Management & SBP for monitoring &
control purposes.
Manage 100+ branches in North region and provide training & necessary guidelines to Junior branch staff
regarding Customer services, preparation of business credit proposal & compliance with per SBP Prudential
regulations and bank internal policies.
Specific Assignment:
Review of Credit proposal of North Region (categorized as capital, credit, market earnings, liquidity, business
strategy, operational risks, Internal controls, management & compliance risks) for marking closure, cancellation,
updating and resolving discrepancies by liaising with the Branch Staff, Regional Head, Credit manager of
Commercial & Retail banking.
Provide training & necessary guidelines to Junior branch staff regarding the preparation of credit proposals as
per SBP Prudential regulations.
