Director Resource Development
· While reporting to the Provost (QA & RD); was instrumental in managing the portfolio of Resource Development & training of the existing and newly hired officers.
· Had designed and implemented an elaborate training program for 80+ officers of NUMS b/w June – Sept. 2018.
· Developed legal documents related to the NUMS scholarship & Training program.
· Developed a Rs. 40 million proposal of an Endowment / Scholarship with Dow Martin Pharma and NUMS & was currently negotiating with them.
· Prepared a presentation on Endowments and Resource Development & shared with Vice Chancellor, Provost (QA & RD), Chief Financial Officer & Dean Research and Director Research.
· Developed the Job Description (JD) documents of the Director (RD), Deputy Director (Endowments), Asst. Director (RD & Scholarships), Manager (RD & Scholarships) & Assistant Managers (RD, Scholarships & Endowments).
· Responsible for arranging Local & National speakers for the UMT program.
· Organized a lecture on the occasion of Pakistan Day and invited Air Commodore ® Syed Sajjad Haider to come speak to our UMT team and fellow officers at NUMS.
· Planned & initiated a Rs. 11.1 million University Management Training Program (UMTP) for NUMS whereby 42 internees were inducted and have been trained for 6 months and their subsequent induction into the Assistant Manager cadre.
· Developed a five-year plan and presentation for Public Relations & RD Directorate for the Vice Chancellor, NUMS.
· Delivered a presentation on Net Etiquettes, Conflict Management, Anger Management, Organizational Development & Change Management to Assistant Professors, Assistant Directors, Managers & Assistant Managers between Jan – Aug 2018 @ NUMS.
Project Director
· While reporting to the Member (HRD), was directly responsible for the Human Resource Development of Faculty members of Public Sector Universities against 12 scholarship projects with an overall outlay of US $ 63.72 million in 15 years.
· Was managing a Start-up Research Grant program worth Rs. 600+ million whereby grants were being given to 1,082 Assistant Professors who had joined public sector universities on Interim Placement / Tenure Track System (TTS).
· Led a team of 30 HEC Officers to Gebze, Turkey b/w 6 – 13th May 2017 on a ‘Leadership Training Program’ as arranged by TUSSIDE.
· Was managing a HEC-UNDP donor funded fellowship program worth US $ 39,542 in 2014 whereby 12 scholarships were awarded to scholars who were doing their M. Phil research on the subject of Federalism & Decentralization in Pakistan.
· Between Sept. 2011 – June 2013, was assigned as a Senior Program Officer of a high level team @ HEC; which was formed to secure US $ 300 million from World Bank against the Tertiary Education Support Program. Was responsible for preparing the Training Plan, TORs of Specialists to be hired and Third Party Surveys to be conducted by HEC.
· Was part of a high-level team at HEC, which arranged and managed the HEC-British Council Regional Policy Dialogue b/w 23 – 25th November 2010.
· Assisted the Chairman and Member (Operations) HEC in defending a Split PhD program proposal in London, UK with the British Council and 8 UK universities b/w 28 – 31st March 2010.
· Was part of a team in HEC since early 2008 which prepared the ‘World Bank Policy Matrix’ to negotiate & secure a loan of US $ 100 million from 27th April 2009 onwards for HEC.
