• Oversaw the production process of centrifugal pumps (Injector, MonoBlock and Jet
pumps etc.).
• Set up the production schedule and kept production in flow i.e. identified hindrance causing
problems and eradicated them.
• Rearranged sequence of machining operations for different pump parts after drawing an
elaborate layout of the whole machining section.

1) Non-destructive testing;
• Performed Hydro test on a pressure vessel and ECONOMIZER.
• Performed Magnetic Particle Test (MPT) on boilers to detect problems like Undercuts and blow holes.
• Performed Dye Penetrant Test (DPT) various welded bended pipes of PRL boiler.
• Deeply observed the methods to carry out NDTs like UT, RT, DPT and MPT etc. and practically performed them as well.
2) Detailed study of Boilers and heat exchanger manufacturing;
• Observed the manufacturing and maintenance of fire tube and water tube boilers.
3) Detailed observation of welding procedures;
• Observed practically different welding processes like GTAW, SMAW and FCAW etc.
• Inspected a PQR of plate 80mm thickness. Visually observed root gap, hot pass, filling and SAW and capping.
• Inspected 5-6 WQT, some were rejected due to lack of fusion and incomplete penetration etc. and some were marked okay.
