I am a Social and Legal practitioner having more than 14 years proven practical experience in the field of human rights, humanitarian assistance and relief. Currently, I am working with UNHCR, Pakistan as Senior Resettlement and Complementary Pathway Assistant in the resettlement Unit at UNHCR Sub office Peshawar. I worked with many INGOs including UNHCR, NRC, IRC, ICMC as well as worked with local NGOs including SACH-Struggle for change, CHC and SHARP. I have conducted more than 100 Capacity building training for Lawyers, Public prosecutors, Police and Judicial officers.
Beside the above experience, I also have strong educational background and hold LL.B, MA political science degree from University of Peshawar while I have MS in development study from Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar. I have also completed a diploma in international human rights law from human rights study center law College University of Peshawar. I also did B.Ed from AIOU Islamabad. On my credit, I have successfully established a Reception Desk Center at Peshawar for the newly arrived Afghan asylum seekers and have also supervised team of Lawyers and other officials.

I worked with UNHCR Pakistan, and my job responsibilities were;
• Conducts refugee status determination interviews and assesses cases in close coordination and reporting to the Protection Officer;
• Conducts Protection Needs Assessments and finalizes recommendations;

• Monitor, and intervene in cases of Refoulment, expulsion and other Protection incidents

I worked with NRC Pakistan in IDPs Project at Kohat office. Following is my job responsibility which I performed during my service in NRC.Job responsibilities were:
• Provide professional legal aid and counselling to NRC beneficiaries;
• Register and process legal cases submitted by NRC beneficiaries;
• Review and prepare legal claims for referral to other organizations/Implementing partners (IPs)
• Monitor and report on the progress of legal claims referred to other organizations;
• Maintain a high level of personal competence on all relevant fields of law governing the ICLA mandate, and actively participate in internal legal coordination meetings to enhance and facilitate the implementation of the ICLA activities in Pakistan;
