Amna Khan is a Software Engineer and an Educational Technologist. She completed her Bachelors in Software Engineering from UET, Taxila in 2013. Recently, she did her Masters in Innovative Technologies in Education from NUST- School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, Islamabad. During her studies, she published and presented her paper as a first author in an international educational conference, INTED,16 held in Valencia, Spain. Apart from this, she worked as a mobile app developer at NUST-SEECS on two different Digital Learning and Research-Based projects; Chotay Sciencedaan Phase II (a.k.a Little Scientists) and Measure Land (mathematics' digital learning app). In year 2017, she published her thesis in well reputed international Springer Link Journal, Education and Information Technologies (under IFIP Technical Committee). She worked as a volunteer in Developments in Literacy (DIL), Islamabad for two weeks. Her interests include taking online courses, reading, shopping, designing games, DIY projects, watching TV series, staying fit and hiking with family. She is learning speaking Korean. Her future plans include PhD in Learning Technologies, and making educational research culture ubiquitous in country.

Worked in a team of two software engineers in close collaboration with instructional and graphic designers on a project entitled “Chotay Sciencedan (Little Scientists) Phase II” to develop interactive educational and assessment apps on Grade 5 Science Curriculum.

Worked in a team of two software engineers in close collaboration with instructional and graphic designers on a funded project entitled “Investigating the Impact of Game Based Learning Application Using Tablets in Learning Mathematics for Primary School Students in Pakistan” to develop the learning app and game for teaching measurements in mathematics to primary students in informal settings.
