A Hydropower sector company is looking to hire the services of experienced professionals for the position of Weir Operator at Patrind Hydropower Plant in Muzaffarabad:
- Operate and monitor spillway gates, sluice gates, and other hydraulic structures to regulate water flow.
- Siren declaration before operation of spillways.
- Operation of flap gates to remove debris from reservoir.
- Operation of diesel generator in case of 11kV line failure.
- Routine inspection of weir gallery pumps, gates and panels to ensure proper functionality and identify any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of water levels, flow rates, and operational activities
- Preparation of trouble reports and coordination with Powerhouse CCR.
Experience:
Preference will be given to a candidate having (03) three years of professional O&M experience as an operator at a Hydropower plant. Persons with disabilities are also encouraged to apply.
