The SAP Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation, operation and maintenance of SAP software systems in our organization. This job requires advanced technical knowledge of servers, operating systems and SAP systems.

SAP System Administration: Manage the overall SAP system landscape, including installations, upgrades, and patches on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server.
Module Configuration and Maintenance: Configure, maintain, and optimize SAP B1/HANA modules such as accounting and finance, fixed asset, inventory, and procurement to meet the organization's business needs.
Integration Management: Oversee the integration of SAP modules with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and integrity.
Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance system efficiency and response times.
Security Management: Implement and maintain robust security measures to safeguard SAP systems and data, including user access control, authorization management, and data encryption.
Backup and Recovery: Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to ensure the integrity and availability of SAP data in the event of system failures or disasters.
User Support and Training: Provide support to end-users, resolve system-related issues, and conduct training sessions to promote user proficiency and adoption of SAP applications.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP configurations, procedures, and system changes. Generate regular reports on system performance, usage statistics, and compliance metrics.
Project Management: Lead SAP-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementation of new modules or functionalities. Coordinate project activities, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery within budgetary constraints.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; SAP certifications are a plus.
A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance is an advantage.
At least 2 years of proven experience in SAP B1/HANA administration, configuration, and support, preferably in a complex enterprise environment.
Proven experience as a professional SAP B1/HANA user is an added advantage.
In-depth knowledge of SAP modules related to accounting, finance, fixed assets, inventory, and procurement; experience in customizing and enhancing SAP functionalities is desirable.
Proficiency in Linux system administration, particularly with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware) is a plus.
Strong understanding of SAP security principles and best practices, including role-based access control, encryption, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Project management experience, including planning, scheduling, and resource management; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is beneficial.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive attitude and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
