Assistant Finance Manager Position in Islamabad
Qualifications:
- Partly Qualified ICMA/CA or ACCA Qualified
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping and Accounting, including project costing and cost center-based accounting
- Experience in preparing monthly accounts, management reports, and monthly book closure
- Proficient in invoicing, receivables follow-up, managing banking relationships, and contract invoicing
- Knowledge of payroll preparation and recording
- Strong expertise in MS Excel for analysis
- Familiarity with FBR/PRA/KPRA laws and monthly filing, SECP filing and compliance, and setting up new companies
- Experience in preparing/updating budgets (advantageous)
- Experience with ERP systems (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative-taking attitude
- Ability to take ownership of day-to-day Accounting and Finance functions with minimal supervision
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of accounting and finance functions, including but not limited to bookkeeping, project costing, invoicing, receivables, and payroll
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, clients, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure compliance with FBR/PRA/KPRA laws, SECP filing, and other regulatory requirements
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring
- Utilize MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting
- Take initiative in problem-solving and process improvements
- Collaborate with other departments for financial planning and reporting
- Contribute to the overall financial strategy and goals of the company
Compensation:
- Gross Salary Range: Rs 130,000 to Rs 150,000 per month (inclusive of all allowances)
- Location: (I-11) Islamabad
- Timing: 9 to 6
- Days Monday to Friday (Saturday alt off)
