We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic individual with experience of working within accounting firm. Candidate should be able to work on their own initiative and be able to grasp the information quickly to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities of the job are as follows but not limited to:
- Carry out day to day bookkeeping for clients with meticulous detail
- Preparing VAT returns
- Monthly closing of accounts
- Preparing year end working paper file up to final trial balance
- Assisting in finalizing the year end accounts and corporation tax return
- Monthly Payroll run
As we serve a UK client base, necessary training will be given on taxation where necessary; but the candidate will need attention for detail and strong understanding of bookkeeping and preparing trial balance from client records.
Experience in Excel is a must at least intermediate level and accounting software such as, QuickBooks Online, VT Transaction and Xero is essential.
