This role involves selling ad space, building strong client relationships, and meeting monthly and yearly sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital advertising, excellent sales skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Revenue Generation:
    • Identify, pitch, and secure new advertising clients from both direct clients and marketing/media agencies.
    • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets by selling ad space across the OLX platform.
    • Develop and promote adjacent services across OLX verticals (e.g., OLX Motors).
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at marketing and media agencies as well as direct clients.
    • Provide exceptional client service, addressing queries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Campaign Planning & Execution:
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their marketing objectives and provide tailored advertising solutions.
    • Oversee campaign setup, tracking, and reporting, ensuring performance aligns with client goals.
    • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., design, data analytics) for campaign optimization.
  • Business Development:
    • Proactively identify new revenue streams and opportunities for expanding the advertising portfolio.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends and digital advertising best practices to offer innovative solutions.
  • Presentation & Reporting:
    • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients and stakeholders.
    • Create detailed campaign performance reports and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in digital advertising sales or a related role.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong network of contacts within marketing and media agencies, as well as direct clients.
  • Excellent knowledge of digital advertising products, trends, and best practices.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides) and ad sales platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, programmatic platforms).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with classified or e-commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing analytics and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Data Studio).
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
