Sourcing / Procurement Associate

As a sourcing/procurement associate for an e-commerce business, you will be responsible for purchasing a wide variety of products and materials needed to support and grow the online store. We are looking for someone eager to learn, proactive, problem solver, and a fast learner. If you don’t have the skill sets but are ready to learn, we will train you.

Key Responsibilities:

Researching and sourcing new products to add to the online store specifically in China
Negotiating prices and terms with suppliers and manufacturers
Processing orders and monitoring deliveries to ensure the timely arrival of products
Maintaining accurate records of purchases and spending
Collaborating with the marketing team to identify and pursue new product trends and opportunities
Analyzing market trends and staying up-to-date on industry developments
Developing and implementing strategies to improve the procurement process and reduce costs
Ensuring all purchases are made in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Requirements:

Strong communication skills
Ability to negotiate and build relationships with suppliers and vendors
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Experience with procurement and supply chain management
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and tools
Knowledge of market trends and industry developments
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, supply chain management) is preferred but not required.
Highly trainable and have a strong desire to learn
