The Sales Manager will oversee the sales operations for industrial roller chains, driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers in the manufacturing, automotive, and industrial sectors. The role requires a deep understanding of roller chain products, market dynamics, and technical applications.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Strategy Development:

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and market share.
    • Identify new market opportunities and design tailored approaches to penetrate these markets.
  2. Business Development:

    • Build and maintain relationships with industrial clients, distributors, and dealers.
    • Negotiate and close high-value deals with B2B customers.
    • Conduct regular market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential customer needs.
  3. Team Management (if applicable):

    • Lead, mentor, and train the sales team to meet individual and team sales targets.
    • Monitor sales team performance and provide actionable feedback.
  4. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Provide technical consultation to customers regarding the use, maintenance, and application of roller chains.
    • Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
  5. Sales Operations:

    • Prepare detailed sales forecasts, reports, and budgets.
    • Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
    • Coordinate with the production and logistics teams to ensure smooth order delivery.
  6. Marketing Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional campaigns and materials.
    • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote products and expand the customer base.
  7. Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
    • Submit periodic sales performance reports to management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in industrial sales, preferably in roller chains or similar mechanical/industrial products.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of industrial roller chains, their applications, and technical specifications.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills..
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Language: Proficiency in English (mandatory); additional regional languages are a plus.
