Nishat Hotels & Properties Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Tax Supervisor to join our financial department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in tax compliance and principles, as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. This role involves handling various tax-related tasks and ensuring adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations. The Tax Supervisor will maintain financial integrity by accurately processing tax documentation and supporting the overall tax strategy of our organization. Although this position does not involve managing a team, the candidate will play a crucial role in collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance and optimize tax processes.
Responsibilities

Oversee and ensure compliance with income tax, sales tax, and other tax laws and regulations.
Prepare and review tax returns and supporting documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist with tax audits and provide any required documentation or explanations to auditors.
Analyze complex tax issues that may arise, providing recommendations and strategies for resolution.
Implement and maintain tax policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current laws and optimize tax positions.
Monitor changes in tax legislation to ensure the organization remains compliant and can capitalize on any potential tax benefits.
Prepare and maintain accurate records related to tax transactions and compliance.
Coordinate with various internal departments to gather necessary data for tax reporting requirements.
Provide training and guidance on tax compliance matters to staff across departments, enhancing the overall knowledge of tax regulations.
Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and create presentations for management.
