Job Title: CIMA Qualified Accountant

Department: Finance

Reports To: Finance Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CIMA-qualified accountant with a degree to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and decision support to drive business performance and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage financial models to support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports to senior management.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
Monitor and analyze costs to ensure efficient use of resources.
Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting updates.
Provide financial guidance and support to various departments in budget preparation.
Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
Act as a finance business partner to non-financial managers, helping them understand the financial implications of their decisions.
Identify and assess financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate governance standards.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance.
Provide analysis and recommendations to improve financial and operational performance.
Ensure financial systems are maintained and updated to support reporting and analysis needs.
Streamline and improve financial processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

CIMA qualification.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in management accounting, financial planning, and analysis.
Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
