eCommerce Copywriter (Amazon / eBay)

We are seeking a highly skilled and talented E-Commerce Copywriter to join our team. As an ECommerce Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating compelling and persuasive product listings content for our Amazon and eBay stores. Your words will directly impact our sales and brand image, driving customer engagement and increasing conversion rates.

Responsibilities:

1. Craft clear, concise, and engaging product descriptions that highlight the unique features, benefits, and selling points of our products.

2. Conduct thorough research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitors' offerings to create targeted and compelling copy.

3. Collaborate with our marketing team to align copy with our brand voice, style, and guidelines.

4. Optimize product listings for search engine optimization (SEO) to improve visibility and organic rankings.

5. Conduct regular audits of existing product listings to identify areas for improvement and update content accordingly.

6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and platform policies to ensure compliance and drive sales growth.

7. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to create cohesive and impactful product content.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as an E-Commerce Copywriter or similar role, preferably in a retail or ecommerce setting.

2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt to different brand voices.

3. Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, particularly Amazon and eBay, and their content guidelines.

4. Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to implement keyword research and optimization techniques.

5. Proficiency in conducting market research to identify customer pain points and develop compelling value propositions.

6. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

7. A portfolio or samples of previous work demonstrating your ability to create effective product listings copy.
