Operational Responsibilities

Oversee and manage daily accounting and finance functions, including the timely recording of transactions, cash management, banking, tax obligations, payroll, inventory, receivables, and payables.
Provide a financial review of purchase requests, purchase orders, and payment requests to ensure compliance.
Maintain banking and donor relations, and plan and monitor cash flow requirements to ensure the smooth implementation of programs and activities.
Prepare and manage taxation records, file all tax returns (sales tax, income tax, and withholding tax), and ensure compliance with prevailing Government Tax Laws.

Strategic Financial Management

Develop and execute financial strategies to achieve organizational goals.
Ensure the company maintains a stable and healthy financial position through effective planning and monitoring.

Budgeting and Forecasting

Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis with actionable recommendations.

Financial Reporting

Prepare and present accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Oversee quarter-end and year-end financial reporting processes.

Risk Management

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax laws, and internal policies to minimize financial and reputational risks.

Cost Optimization and Control

Identify cost-saving initiatives and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Monitor and control organizational expenses to align with financial goals.

Team Leadership and Development

Internal Controls and Policy Development

Establish and enforce robust internal controls to safeguard organizational assets and financial data.
Develop, implement, review, and maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures to ensure best practices.

System and Process Improvement

Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement financial management systems and automate processes.
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Stakeholder/Donor Engagement

Act as a liaison with financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
Provide financial insights and support to senior management for strategic decision-making.
