Responsibilities:
Frontend Development:
- Develop and optimize responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using WordPress, Elementor, and WooCommerce.
- Enhance website performance with modern frontend frameworks and technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Implement interactive features and animations using JavaScript or other libraries (e.g., jQuery, React, or Vue.js).
Backend Development:
- Build and maintain robust backend systems for e-commerce functionality.
- Develop custom WordPress plugins and WooCommerce extensions to meet specific business requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration with third-party APIs for payment gateways, CRMs, and other tools.
Database Management:
- Optimize database queries and ensure secure handling of user data.
- Maintain and update databases to support the e-commerce platform.
API Integration:
- Develop and maintain custom API connections to integrate with external platforms and services.
- Troubleshoot and debug integration issues to ensure smooth operation.
Testing & Optimization:
- Conduct regular website performance tests and resolve any identified bottlenecks.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Perform A/B testing and user experience optimization.
Security & Maintenance:
- Implement security best practices to protect customer data and prevent vulnerabilities.
- Perform regular updates and backups for website infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in both frontend and backend web development.
- Expertise in WordPress, WooCommerce, and Elementor.
- Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular is a plus).
- Experience in backend development with PHP and MySQL.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce workflows and functionalities.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Ability to develop custom plugins and scripts.
- Experience with testing tools for frontend and backend (e.g., Selenium, PHPUnit).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with server management and cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Knowledge of headless CMS solutions.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices for technical and content optimization.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
