About the Role:

With over 300 clients and continued growth in our Audit client base, we are looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join our busy audit team. Applicants should be part-qualified ACA/ACCA and should have experience assisting on audit assignments.

Duties will include:

Building strong relationships with new and established clients
Planning audit engagements and leading onsite teams
Analysis of accounting data from client's books and records
Completing a variety of areas of audit work which includes the identification of issues, analysis of data, articulation of findings and the ability to draw informed conclusions; Liaising with clients to resolve any queries, escalating more complex matters to manager/partner
Reviewing team members’ work before passing the completed file to the manager/partner
Coaching juniors and providing feedback on the quality of their work and performance
Controlling assignment time in line with the pre-determined budget
Developing new insights and proposing innovative solutions to help enhance audit quality
Ensuring compliance with external (regulatory) and internal (audit methodology and risk management) requirements
Identify and understand client's needs, providing initial solutions to client challenges and subsequently executing those.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge and experience in financial statements, accounting, and finance
Analytical skills to assess financial data and identify patterns and discrepancies
Experience in conducting financial audits and ensuring accuracy and compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Strong organizational and time management skills
Relevant professional qualification or certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA)
5 years Experience in the external audit field or a similar role
