Network Engineer

Perform routine monitoring and maintenance of network infrastructure.
Diagnose and escalate network issues & coordinate with various stakeholders such as Engineering team, field support team, upstream and LDIs to resolve them.
Ensure closure of issues via email/phone correspondence with various stakeholders.
Proactively identify, diagnose, analyze and troubleshoot issues with IP/Data/MPLS VPN customers.
Carry out activation, configuration and programming of various network databases to ensure service provisioning tocustomers.
Install new hardware or components, while ensuring integration with existing network systems.
Analyze the processes and recommend improvements.
Document issues and solutions into central repository.
Work with and mentor team members through professional behavior and knowledge sharing.
Update internal system to ensure timely and updated communication.
Analyze Syslog messages to identify and resolve problems quickly.

Requirement:

Bachlor’s Degree In Engineering or similar.
2-3 years Industry-related experience as a Network Engineer.
Professional certification (e.g. CCNP,/CCNA )R &S preferred.
Experties on Linux / Unix will be preferred.
In-depth understanding of like VLSM, Static routing, OSPF, BGP RIP, MPLS, Metro Ethernet, Layer 2 switching, tunneling protocols etc.
Good knowledge of L2.
Networking OSI Layer, Knowledge of Switches ,Router, LAN (switching) WAN (GRE),TCP/IP suite & UDP .)
Good hands-on experience on multiple Routing and Switching Platforms (e.g. Juniper, Cisco, Huawei)
Ability to work independently under pressure situations with problem solving skills.
Willing to work in shift in a 24*7 environment..
