Job Summary:

The Sales Representative / Product Trainer is a dynamic field-based role responsible for driving sales growth and providing technical product training to optical retailers. This individual will build strong relationships with clients, generate new business, and empower retailers to effectively sell our products through comprehensive training sessions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with optical retailers, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Identify new business opportunities and actively prospect for new clients.
  • Conduct regular visits to retailers to showcase our products and generate sales.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive product training sessions to educate retailers on product features, benefits, and selling techniques.
  • Answer technical questions and resolve product-related queries from retailers.
  • Gather feedback from retailers to improve training programs and sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor products, and new product developments.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Sales or Marketing with appropriate experience in the relevant industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Ready to gain technical knowledge of ophthalmic lenses and optical products.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new products and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to visit retailers.
