Main Accountabilities Include:

  • To ensure the successful and on-time execution of all the training activities, including training needs analysis, training planning, training delivery, training records maintenance and other activities as outlined in the Learning and Development Policy and as assigned by the head of training.
  • To ensure training and competency assessment process that includes uploading correct results and completion dates.
  • To assist in continuous improvement of the design and development of the training content to keep it aligned with the regulatory and customer requirements.
  • To ensure the oversight and supervision of all training activities within your respective domain.
  • To keep the regional/ country head of operational learning updated on recent developments and/or changes with regards to training needs, planning, and execution in your respective domain.
  • To attend and future, local or foreign courses that will be required at any time to enable you to stay updated and current on the latest instructional techniques to subject matter knowledge.
  • To collaborate and keep a close liaison with the station’s operational head to plan and execute training.
  • To maintain, update, and share monthly scorecards with all concerned.
  • Plan and arrange workshops as per LDP and ensure follow-up on all progress and improvement of trainers.
  • To stay informed on all updates and bulletins and changes in operational manuals/standards and procedures to note any corresponding changes in the qualification levels required to be achieved by staff.
  • To ensure training records are updated and maintained as per the guidelines gives in the Learning and Development policy.
  • To produce and maintain key performance indicators (KPI) dashboards for the management to enable them to have the best visibility and oversight of training activities at your station.
  • To ensure all training activities meet the relevant organizational and statuary policies including health, safety, labor and equality laws.
  • To keep the station coordinator informed well in advance regarding trh training schedule to enable him to provide timely support.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Knowledge and familiarities of training requirements in the department area of your subject matter expertise.
  • Experience in the use of success factors learning system.
  • Project management skills
  • Training needs analysis experience.
  • Training and design and development experience.
  • Training and facilitation skills.
  • IT Literacy (MS Office, learning management systems and ability to quickly gain a working knowledge of new technology).
