We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Import Supervisor to manage our import operations department. The Import Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating the importation of IT products and components, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies, and optimizing import processes to support our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the import operations team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and compliant import processes.
Oversee the importation of IT products and components, including hardware, software, peripherals, and accessories, from international suppliers and vendors.
Coordinate with logistics partners, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate the timely clearance of imported goods through customs and regulatory agencies.
Review import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Develop and implement import compliance procedures and protocols to ensure adherence to import/export regulations, tariff classifications, and trade compliance requirements.
Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize import processes, streamline workflows, and reduce lead times.
Monitor import shipments to track progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and trade agreements relevant to the IT industry.
Prepare contract and related documentation to fulfill the import operations' effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
