Web Developer

We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our growing business! As a WordPress Developer, you will be proficient in HTML, CSS, jQuery, and PHP. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build custom themes and plugins from scratch and possess strong knowledge of WooCommerce and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). This role involves developing, enhancing, and maintaining our WordPress websites to ensure they are visually appealing, secure, fast, functional, and user-friendly. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a small and growing business, with the chance to impact growth and deliver superb user experiences. You will engage in both front-end development and back-end integrations, offering variety and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Maintain Production, Staging, and Development WordPress environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
Build, test, and optimize fast and secure WordPress websites.
Convert PSD/Figma designs into responsive WordPress themes.
Contribute to solutions for customer requirements.
Implement and customize WooCommerce for e-commerce solutions.
Utilize Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create flexible content management systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficient in HTML, CSS, jQuery, and PHP.
Minimum of 2 years of WordPress experience.
Strong experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
Expertise in WooCommerce and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
Familiarity with modern web development tools and workflows (e.g., Git, BitBucket, Deploybot).
Knowledge of responsive design principles and techniques.
Knowledge of Google Tag Manager and Analytics.
Understanding of current SEO best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
