Senior Software Engineer - ML Ops

Timings: 5pm-2am

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with data scientists to transform prototype Python code into production-ready versions.
Maintain and enhance the data science production code library.
Develop innovative advancements for our product platform while working closely with our agile team members.
Optimize machine learning models for improved performance and scalability.
Research and utilize commercial products, libraries, and tools to address challenges.
Provide technical mentorship to data science team members.
Participate in design sessions alongside engineers, architects, and product managers.
Ensure high code quality through best practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Implement automation processes such as continuous integration, automated deployments, and automated unit and functional testing.
Offer constructive and honest feedback during sprint retrospectives with a collaborative team mindset.

Technical Skills Required:

Possess 5+ years of full-stack software development experience, ideally within a SaaS or microservice-based system.
Have strong experience with Python, including data manipulation and analysis tools like Pandas, Polars, and NumPy.
Be familiar with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
Have knowledge of or be willing to adapt to our technology stack: React, TypeScript, NUnit/XUnit (Unit Tests), Playwright, HTML5, CSS3, C#, .NET, .NET Core, REST APIs, SQL (MSSQL), and Angular.
Preferably, have experience with Azure Services (Power BI) and AWS Services (S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, ECR, ECS).
Have experience with cloud-based database and analytics platforms like Snowflake or Databricks.
Be experienced with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Flask, Gunicorn, Docker, and Airflow.
Be familiar with design principles like SOLID/DRY design, object-oriented design patterns, N-Tier software architecture, threading and synchronization, relational database design, etc.

Soft Skills Required:

Ability to work well in a remote team environment and attitude to focus on team-specific goals and objectives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to participate effectively with a team and collaborate with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds.
Exhibit a passion for problem-solving and innovation, along with a desire to learn and grow.

Qualifications: Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or demonstrate equivalent work-related experience.
