Supervision and Team Management:
- Lead a team of electrical technicians and ensure efficient execution of tasks.
- Assign daily work schedules, monitor progress, and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on HT systems, safety procedures, and best practices.
Operation and Maintenance:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain HT electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and cables.
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Ensure minimal downtime and prompt resolution of electrical faults.
Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all work is carried out following electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce safety protocols.
- Conduct regular safety audits and address non-compliance issues.
Technical Expertise:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Test and commission HT systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Recommend upgrades and modifications to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, equipment status, and incident reports.
- Prepare periodic reports on HT system performance and submit them to management.
- Ensure accurate inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
Coordination:
- Collaborate with other departments for coordinated shutdowns and system maintenance.
- Work with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for equipment procurement and repairs.
