We are a dynamic logistics company specializing in freight transportation across Pakistan. With a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our operations and seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to lead and streamline our Karachi warehouse and distribution activities.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our Karachi operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics processes, implementing effective inventory management systems, and ensuring transparency and efficiency in all warehouse activities. This role requires a proactive leader who can address operational challenges, enhance productivity, and foster a culture of integrity and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

Oversee all logistics and warehouse operations in Karachi, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatching of goods.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in all processes.
Monitor daily operations to identify and resolve issues promptly.

Inventory Control:

Implement effective inventory tracking systems to ensure accurate counting and recording of goods at all times.
Utilize technology solutions such as barcode systems or inventory management software to enhance accuracy and reduce manual errors.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to prevent discrepancies.

Team Leadership:

Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to follow established procedures and maintain high performance standards.
Foster a positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Address any instances of misconduct or non-compliance with company policies.

Process Improvement:

Identify areas for improvement within the logistics operations and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Implement measures to prevent theft, loss, and damage of goods.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve communication between Karachi and other locations.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with all local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to senior management.
Maintain accurate documentation and records for all logistics activities.

Customer Satisfaction:

Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Address and resolve any client complaints or issues related to logistics operations.

Technology Integration:

Evaluate and recommend appropriate technology solutions to enhance logistics operations.
Oversee the implementation of new systems and ensure staff are adequately trained.

Risk Management:

Develop and enforce security measures to safeguard warehouse assets and inventory.
Implement procedures to mitigate risks associated with logistics operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
Proven track record of managing logistics operations in a medium to large-sized organization.
Experience with implementing inventory management systems and technology solutions.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of logistics software and barcode systems is highly desirable.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong ethical standards and commitment to integrity.
